It is the finding of this committee that the restructuring of existing projects in the wake of the Final Days and the reassessment of prior projects be extended to the Politeum Tekhnikos initiative.Given the absence of prior candidates for the project's Director, this committee has deemed CECILIE ASTER sufficiently familiar with its goals to manage the project.⬖ Acquire company charter and usable land per practices common among Eorzean partners.
⬖ Assist other projects in the promotion of Sharlayan interests abroad.
⬖ Seek local individuals of expertise and other qualities as the Director deems appropriate.
⬖ Report events of potential interest to the Forum.
⬖ Form and maintain positive relations with local organizations.
⬖ Develop foreign office capable of self sufficiency, whether through trade or other means.

"The Forum's ask was a bit much, I suppose. The hostel I got for a steal and it was thankfully easy to get it back in a serviceable state! Still, Eorzea is a busy, crowded place. They had an idea of me scooping up every local expert and scholar, but that's not really enough, is it? The few I've found are great and Oikianotos is better for their company. If I get a few, you know, randos... it's not like they're going to complain, right?"

A Laboratory Turned Home
In theory, the Politeum Tekhnikos was to be a place where foreign brilliance could be collected for Sharlayan benefit. In practice, it is a stable, quiet spot in an unstable world. Little is demanded of its members beyond what they care to give and the effort's material goals have given way to social ones.Well-regarded by local authorities as a quiet if oddly well-funded company, the Politeum Tekhnikos offers itself as a clinic for travelers, connection to Sharlayan, and its house... well, Oikianotos was a hostel before, it makes sense that it can still provide somewhere to stay for people passing by.The "who" of Politeum Tekhnikos are an odd mix. Artisans, former soldiers, adventurers, the occasional streetwalker. For better or worse, it's made up of whoever gets along well with Cecilie and needs somewhere to be.There's little patience for unnecessary violence and people prone to stirring up even more unnecessary conflict, making it a good fit for others with a similar lack of patience.

Oikianotos
Oikianotos, loosely translated as "knowledge of the southern wind", was once a hostel that fell into disrepair. Thanks to Cecilie's access to a budget and an odd ability to bumble her way into good investments, it's been turned into...Well, mostly just a much better hostel.Oikianotos is a place for comfort and quiet with the usual amenities of a home its size with kitchens, baths, a small clinic, and areas for study and entertainment.⬖ Crystal
